These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of batchandtwine.com and any purchases you make from Batch and Twine. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Ordering & Pre-Order Drops

Our baked goods are made in small batches for scheduled pre-order drops. When you order, you select an available drop date; your items are baked fresh for that date. Orders must be placed before the posted cutoff for each drop. Availability is limited and sold on a first-come basis.

Shipping Area

  • Freshly baked goods ship to addresses within North Carolina only, in accordance with state home-kitchen regulations.
  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your address and selected delivery speed.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or for incorrect addresses provided at checkout.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time you place your order. Applicable sales tax and shipping are shown before you confirm your purchase.

Perishable Goods, Refunds & Cancellations

Because our products are freshly baked and perishable, all sales are generally final. If something is wrong with your order, please contact us promptly and we will make it right where we can. Any refunds we issue are processed back to your original payment method through Stripe.

Allergens

Our products are made in a home kitchen that also handles common allergens, including wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts, and soy. We cannot guarantee any product is free from cross-contact. If you have a food allergy, please order at your own discretion.

Food Safety Compliance

All food products are manufactured in a North Carolina home kitchen approved by the NCDA&CS.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse any content. All Site content and branding are owned by Batch and Twine and may not be used without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Batch and Twine is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.

Food Allergy Notice: Batch and Twine products are prepared with the finest ingredients and contain common allergens including Wheat, Milk, and Eggs. While select menu items are formulated without nuts, all of our confections are baked and packaged in a shared facility that processes Peanuts and Tree Nuts (including Walnuts and Almonds). Because we operate out of a single artisanal space, we cannot guarantee the absolute absence of trace cross-contact. If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, we advise against consuming our products.

Shipping & Perishability Terms: Because our premium treats are baked fresh to order using real dairy and chocolate without artificial stabilizers or preservatives, all sales are final. Batch and Twine is not liable for carrier transit delays, deliveries sent to incorrectly entered addresses, or packages left unattended outdoors following delivery. Shipped exclusively within North Carolina in 100% plastic-free, compostable materials.
